Dyck Family- Family Portraits in Fernie

This winter has been a blur...  I can't even believe that the start of May is coming around this weekend!  Here's some photos I took of my niece and nephew this winter while my sister's family was out visiting.  They've been sitting on my "to do" list since early March, and I've only now gotten the chance to start editing the shoot.  Here are a sampling of the images from our shoot.  Not that I'm bragging, but I'm pretty sure that my nephew is going to be the Male Model of the Year in 2028.

Hayleigh and Jenna Grad 2010

The end of June, brings a new month, and also a new stage in the lives of this years graduates from Fernie Secondary School.  I was asked by a couple families to shoot some photos of this momentous day.  Congratulations to Hayleigh and Jenna, and all the other grads of 2010!

Chris and Larissa

Last weekend I had the pleasure of heading up to Canmore to shoot Chris and Larissa's wedding.  These two kids were a lot of fun; the party was certainly a gooder!  Mother Nature threw us a little curve ball, the weather leading up to the big day was 20-25C, only to wake up in the morning to a "little" blizzard.  Made my job interesting!  Thanks guys for letting me part of your special day, I hope you enjoy these couple photos.

So I gets this call Thursday night from my friend L'Wren. The conversation goes something like this:

"Hello, Kyle speaking"

"Kyle, its L'Wren. I'm am freaking out. I need some photography help."

"Okay, how can I help?"

"What are you doing Saturday?"

"Ummm, was going to go to the lake, and just hang out."

"No, you're not. I need a wedding photographer for my brother's wedding. What do you charge?"

"Didn't you guys leave this a little to the last minute?"

"The photographer we booked is getting air-lifted to Cranbrook Hospital right now. He has a broken jaw, a broken arm, he's in and out of consciousness, and he may need to go to Calgary."

"Oh! Umm, yep, I will do your photos!"
