Jay and Jen Fernie Wedding Photography

I first met Jen at the Sex and The City II Premier at Picnic.  Along with the "Studio" I had set up, I also volunteered to be auctioned off for a 1 hour portrait session.  Well, the bidding rapidly escalated beyond the "retail price" of the sitting, and Jen was the driving force behind the bidding.  She eventually won my services for $250, all of which was donated to the Relay For Life charity.  Jen had hoped that I might still be free to come and shoot her wedding, but I was previously booked for that day.  Instead, she and her new husband Jay decided that they wanted to get dressed back up in their wedding day outfits for a portrait session a couple days after the event.
Here are the photos from our shoot, 4 days after the wedding

Gillings Family Portraits

My cousins Rob and Kasia asked me to take some family photos for them.  We didn't have much of a weather window as they were only really in town for a the weekend, and there was some crazy smoke that blew in from the forest fires up in Northern B.C.
One of the most enjoyable parts of family portraits is working with kids.  Its also one of the hardest.  I made the mistake of asking my little cousins to run through some long grass.  Alexandra came out of the grass all itchy, and that was pretty much then of her listening to me!

Roxy and Darrell Rossland Wedding

My good friend Roxy got married this summer.  I've known Roxy since she first moved to Canada from Italy 5 years ago.  I found out this summer that she was getting married, and while I wasn't hired as her "official wedding photographer" I couldn't just leave my camera at home.  Here are a sample of some of the images from the day.

Congratulations Roxy and Darrell!
